Hybrid Cable

ChimeraX™ hybrid cables carry optical fibers and copper power conductors in one sheath. One cable pull can feed remote equipment with both power and data. Typical uses include 5G remote radio units (RRU), small cells, fiber-to-the-antenna, CCTV and outdoor network equipment. The range starts with compact 2-fiber drop cables with 18 AWG conductors. It also includes round and flat-fiber 5G hybrid cables and heavily armoured fire-retardant designs. The 6RRU and 9RRU types carry up to 36 fibers and 18 × 10 mm² conductors under aluminium armour. An 18-fiber plus 8 × 4 mm² cable supports power and data runs of up to 1000 m. For indoor use, choose the fiber and Cat6 U/FTP LSOH hybrid.
