Hermesys LadonX™ series double jacket direct buried cable can be placed underground without conduit.
The cable is designed to withstand the rigors of being buried in the dirt. It is a more rugged cable, armoured to prevent damage from rodent chewing or the pressures of dirt and rocks in which it is buried.
The double jacket design provides stability performance over a wide temperature range and is compatible with full range of optical Fibre.

Loose tube are SZ stranded and filled with waterproof compound.
Aluminum tape is used in and over the cable core to prevent moisture ingress.
The corrugate steel tape is rodent proof and crush resistance.
The black PE jacket is suitable for outdoor use with high performance UV resistance.
