The Hermesys FLASH PULL™ 864F Micro Cable is a factory pre-installed cable-in-duct assembly, combining a micro optical cable with its own duct as a single ready-to-lay unit. The cable’s compact, lightweight construction lets it settle naturally at the base of the duct under gravity, simplifying deployment across high-density duct network builds.
Key Features and Benefits
- Factory pre-installed inside its Φ25/18 mm blue HDPE duct, delivering a ready-to-lay cable-in-duct unit for direct deployment
- Ultra-high 864-fiber count in a compact micro cable body, maximizing fiber density within a small-diameter duct for space-constrained routes
- Non-metallic FRP+PE central strength member keeps the cable lightweight and free of the corrosion and EMI issues common to metallic strength members
- Modular 9+15 loose tube design with 36 fibers per tube supports organized mid-span access and simplifies fiber management during splicing
- Gravity-stable cross-section settles the micro cable naturally at the base of the duct, keeping its position predictable for later rodding, blowing, or maintenance work
- Bend-insensitive single-mode fiber tolerates the tight bends common in congested duct runs and access chambers
- High mechanical performance — 1000 N max. tensile strength and 500 N/100 mm crush resistance — protects the cable during duct handling, pulling, and post-installation service
- Wide -30°C to +70°C operating range, with installation down to -10°C, suits both temperate and hot-climate duct networks
