The Hermesys LadonX™ RG6 coaxial cable is a 75 Ω armoured coax with double LSOH sheaths, offering lower loss than RG59 for longer runs and higher-frequency services. It combines mechanical protection and fire safety for signal distribution in demanding building and infrastructure projects.
Key Features and Benefits
- Larger conductor and dielectric than RG59 reduce attenuation, supporting longer cable runs without signal amplification
- Low loss up to 3000 MHz covers CATV, broadband and satellite IF frequency bands
- Steel wire braid armour protects the cable against crushing, impact and rodent damage in exposed or demanding routes
- Triple shielding with aluminium foil, high-coverage copper braid and steel wire braid gives excellent protection against electromagnetic interference
- Inner and outer LSOH sheaths emit low smoke and no halogen in a fire, protecting people and equipment in enclosed spaces
- Flame-retardant construction limits the spread of fire along cable runs
- Stable 75 Ω impedance and good structural return loss reduce reflections and signal degradation
- Operating temperature up to +90°C suits installations in warm equipment areas and plant rooms
