The Hermesys ChimeraX™ Fire Resistant Cable is a stainless steel uni-tube fiber optic cable with corrugated steel tape armour, built for fire-sensitive and mechanically demanding industrial environments.

• Stainless steel uni-tube houses up to 48 fibers (G657A1/G657A2), giving the fiber core stronger physical protection than a standard plastic loose tube
• Fiber jelly filling compound blocks water ingress inside the tube
• Two horizontally placed 0.6mm steel wires as strength member support tensile loads while keeping the cable profile compact
• FR-LSOH inner and outer jackets combine flame resistance with low smoke and halogen emissions, suited to fire-sensitive environments
• Corrugated steel tape armour adds mechanical protection against crushing and impact
• Rated to 3000N short-term / 1000N long-term tensile and crush strength, confirming the cable withstands pulling loads and mechanical impact during and after installation
• Available in six fiber counts (4F to 48F) sharing the same core construction, giving flexibility to match capacity needs across a project
• Operates across a wide -40°C to +70°C range, suiting extreme outdoor and industrial climates
• Defined bend radius limits (>10D static / >20D dynamic) give clear routing and installation guidance
