Hermesys ChimeraX™ 4 core 16mm² power cable combines galvanized steel wire armour for mechanical protection with low-smoke, zero-halogen bedding and outer sheath. Rated at 600/1000V, it features XLPE insulation and a flame-retardant design referencing IEC 60332-1-2 and IEC 60332-3-22 Category A.
Key Features and Benefits
- Copper conductors with XLPE insulation deliver stable, low-loss power transmission at 600/1000 V
- Color-coded cores (Brown / Black / Grey / Blue) simplify identification and safe termination on site
- Galvanized steel wire armour provides mechanical impact and rodent protection, suited for direct burial and harsh-duty routing
- Flame retardant, Low Smoke Zero Halogen (LSOH) bedding and sheath reduce toxic smoke and corrosive gas release in a fire
- 250°C final short-circuit temperature rating provides a safety margin under fault conditions
- Wide 0°C to +90°C operating range suits both temperate and high-heat industrial environments
- Compact 10D minimum bending radius eases routing in confined cable trays and ducts
Typical Applications
- Power Distribution Networks
- Industrial and Infrastructure Installations
- Underground and Direct Burial Power Cabling
- Environments Requiring Flame Retardant, Low Smoke Halogen-Free Cabling
