Hermesys High-Density Data Centre Cabling & Maintenance Training Successfully Concluded

The Hermesys AI Data Centre Optical Network Deployment and Maintenance Training concluded on 5 February at Hermesys Singapore after two days of training.

Tailored to the cabling and networking requirements of ByteDance data centres, this programme was organised by Hermesys for engineering management teams from ByteDance, as well as engineering and technical professionals from leading contractors Lantrovision and Emerges Plus.

The training focused on the application and design of Hermesys LadonX™ and HydraX™ high-fiber-count optical cables and ultra-high-density connectivity solutions, with hands-on sessions covering high-speed optical module installation, fault diagnosis, connector cleaning, and long-term maintenance practices in data centre environments.

To enhance participants’ understanding of testing and certification tools, we were honoured to invite General Electronics & Instrumentation Corp. (GEIC). Its Director, Jimmy B. T. Tan, shared practical insights into the use of Fluke testing instruments for data centre cabling certification, troubleshooting, and installation.

We would like to thank all participants for their active engagement and look forward to supporting more high-performance data centre projects in the future.
