The Hermesys ChimeraX™ 4F Outdoor Armor Cable is a compact, uni-tube fiber optic cable built for outdoor network deployment. Its armoured, single-jacket construction combines mechanical protection with a lightweight, small-diameter build, making it well suited for low-fiber-count outdoor and duct installations such as FTTx last-mile drops.
Tính Năng Và Lợi Ích Chính
- Compact 4-fiber, single loose-tube design using G652D single-mode fiber, ideal for low-count outdoor and FTTx last-mile links
- Steel wire armour delivers strong mechanical crush and rodent protection for direct outdoor and duct routing
- HDPE outer sheath provides durable resistance to UV, moisture, and outdoor weathering
- Tube jelly water-blocking compound stops moisture migration along the cable core, verified by a 24-hour water penetration test with no leakage
- Wide -40°C to +70°C operating range supports reliable performance across extreme outdoor climates
- High tensile (1500 N) and crush (1000 N/100 mm short-term) strength give installation confidence in duct and aerial routing
- Static ≥10D / Dynamic ≥20D minimum bending radius eases routing in confined spaces while protecting fiber performance
- Color-coded fiber identification simplifies splicing, testing, and maintenance
