The Hermesys ChimeraX™ SWA cable is a direct-buried fiber optic cable built with a fire retardant Polyamide 12 (PA12) outer sheath and galvanized steel wire armour. Its chemical- and oil-resistant sheath is designed to withstand the aggressive fluids and constituents found in petrochemical plants, while the steel armour adds rodent protection and mechanical strength for both underground and above-ground installation.
