The Hermesys ChimeraX™ 22kV Single Core Power Cable is a flame-retardant, aluminum wire armoured power cable available in 95mm², 150mm², and 300mm² conductor sizes. Its anti-termite and anti-rodent (AT/AR) construction is designed for direct-buried, long-haul power transmission where both electrical performance and physical durability are required.
Tính Năng Và Lợi Ích Chính
- Aluminum wire armour provides strong mechanical protection against crushing, digging, and impact for direct-buried installations
- PVC outer jacket with anti-termite and anti-rodent additive resists pest damage in underground and outdoor routes
- XLPE insulation supports reliable operation across a wide temperature range, up to a 90°C continuous conductor rating
- Copper tape metal screen provides consistent electrical shielding and a fault current return path along the cable length
- Semi-conductive compound screens on both the conductor and insulation smooth the electric field, reducing stress concentration at the insulation interfaces
- Rated for a maximum short-circuit temperature of +250°C for 5 seconds, giving a margin of safety during fault conditions
- Available in 95mm², 150mm², and 300mm² conductor sizes, covering a range of current-carrying capacity needs for long-haul transmission projects
- Flame-retardant construction limits fire propagation along the cable run
