Hermesys LadonX™ ADSS cables are all-dielectric, self-supporting cables built for fast, single-pass aerial installation. Their light weight makes them well suited for utility poles carrying cable television, telecom, or other outside-plant campus backbone lines, and they install without cable lashing or grounding, useful anywhere metallic cable isn’t an option.
The round cable design keeps wind and ice loading to a minimum, which reduces cable sag and lowers the tensile forces placed on supporting towers.
Key Features and Benefits
- The non-metallic FRP central strength member is lighter and more flexible than steel, and it never rusts.
- Water blocking yarns and water blocking tape work together to keep water from entering the cable.
- Loose tubes are S-Z stranded around the central strength member for consistent core geometry.
- Aramid yarn strength elements add extra tensile strength and stability to the cable.
- The black PE outer jacket is built for outdoor use and offers high-performance UV resistance.
Ứng Dụng
This cable series suits self-support aerial and river-crossing routes on outside-plant networks, with fiber counts from 24 to 144 cores and span lengths of 100m or 200m to match different pole spacing and route requirements.
