The Hermesys ChimeraX™ Amphibious Fibre Optic Cable is a high fibre count cable for undersea and directional drilling installations. It comes in two armour tiers, so you can match protection level to your installation’s tensile and crush demands.

- Six loose tubes each hold up to 144 fibres, keeping the high-density core simple to manage
- Choose single-layer Godzilla-Armour for standard protection, or double-layer Godzilla-Armour Plus for higher tensile and crush strength
- Double-layer armour more than doubles ultimate tensile strength, supporting longer or more demanding installations
- Galvanized steel wire armour with an asphalt coating resists water ingress and mechanical damage during installation
- Tested to block water penetration to no more than 200 metres after 336 hours at high pressure
- Rated for both underwater installation and long-distance horizontal directional drilling, suiting island and cross-water links
