The Hermesys HydraX™ 800G OSFP112 Passive Direct Attach Copper (DAC) Cable provides a short-reach connection between 800G network ports without requiring active signal-processing components. Its eight-lane PAM4 electrical architecture supports an aggregate bandwidth of 800 Gb/s, making it suitable for direct equipment interconnection inside high-density data centre environments.
Available in lengths from 0.5 to 1.5 metres, the assembly combines 28-30 AWG conductors with a flexible foam-dielectric cable construction. Finned-top OSFP connectors assist with heat dissipation, while the compact cable diameter and reduced bend radius simplify routing around densely populated switches, servers and storage hardware.
