The Hermesys HydraX™ 800G OSFP112 Active Copper Cable (ACC) extends high-speed electrical connectivity beyond the typical reach of a passive DAC. Active signal compensation supports an aggregate bandwidth of 800 Gb/s over copper cable lengths of up to 5 metres, providing a suitable balance between reach, power consumption and installation flexibility.
The cable connects two OSFP112 ports through eight PAM4 transmit and receive channels. Its flexible foam-dielectric construction, 26-30 AWG conductor options and finned-top connector design support reliable routing and thermal management in densely configured AI, cloud and high-performance computing systems.
