The Hermesys HydraX™ 400G OSFP DR4 optical transceiver provides 400 Gigabit Ethernet transmission over distances of up to 500m on single-mode fiber. The module uses four 106.25Gbps PAM4 electrical channels and four parallel optical channels operating within the 1310nm wavelength region. Designed around an OSFP host interface, the module incorporates PAM4 retiming, optical transmitters and a four-channel PIN photodiode and TIA receiver array. Its MPO-12 connector with APC end face supports parallel-fiber links for 400G Ethernet, 4×100G connectivity and high-performance computing networks.
