The ArgusX™ series is Hermesys’s non-armoured LSOH fiber optic cable line, designed for operators and network integrators who need very high fiber counts in a single, manageable cable bundle. This 1728-fiber configuration uses a semi-dry construction, Combining water-blocking yarn and water-blocking tape instead of full gel-filling for cleaner, faster field termination while still protecting against water ingress. Each of the 36 loose tubes is color-coded and holds 48 x 200 µm-coated fibers, with the whole bundle stranded around a central FRP strength member and reinforced with an aramid yarn peripheral strength layer beneath the LSOH outer sheath.
