Hermesys HydraX™ 100G QSFP28 Direct Attach Copper Cable provides a cost-effective, low-latency connection between network devices equipped with QSFP28 ports. The passive cable assembly combines two hot-pluggable QSFP28 connectors with shielded Twinax copper cable, eliminating the need for separate optical transceivers and fiber patch cords.
Four full-duplex electrical lanes operate at up to 25 Gb/s per lane, delivering an aggregate data rate of 100 Gb/s. Low insertion loss and crosstalk support reliable short-reach connections in high-density data center environments. Standard lengths from 0.5 m to 5 m are available, with conductor sizes ranging from 26 to 30 AWG. Cable length, conductor size and compatible coding can be configured according to deployment requirements.
