The Hermesys HydraX™ 100G QSFP28 BiDi LR optical transceiver delivers 100 Gigabit Ethernet transmission over a single strand of standard single-mode fiber. With a reach of up to 10km, it helps preserve fiber capacity in data centre, 5G and enterprise network deployments.
The module uses complementary 1271nm and 1331nm transmit and receive wavelengths. Two opposite-wavelength modules must be installed as a matched pair to establish a bidirectional optical link.
