The Hermesys HydraX™ 1.6T OSFP Active Copper Cable (ACC) is engineered for short-reach, high-bandwidth connections in hyperscale data centres and AI/ML computing environments. Delivering an aggregate data rate of 1.6 Tb/s through eight 200G electrical lanes, it provides a direct copper interconnect for systems that require high throughput with minimal transmission delay.
Built in the hot-pluggable OSFP1600 form factor, the cable supports the 1.6TAUI-8 chip-to-module electrical interface and reaches up to 2.5 metres. Host-based FEC operation and power consumption below 3W per end make it suitable for dense equipment configurations where thermal efficiency and predictable link performance are important.
